Description
This wrought iron cabinet handle is a handcrafted piece forged by skilled blacksmiths using traditional techniques. The raw iron is twisted when hot to create a decorative pattern, then the ends are tapered by hand into sculpted “egg” shapes, into which small decorative recesses are struck using a ball-peen hammer. Each handle is finished with a historical method called blackening: the piece is reheated and dipped in linseed oil, which burns into the surface to create a dark, protective coating. This enhances the natural textures of the forging process while giving the handle a timeless, rustic look.
With a total length of 10 cm (approx. 4 inches), a projection of 4 cm (1.6 inches), and a solid 250g weight, this handle is built to last. It mounts with two screws (not included).
Ideal for: cabinet doors, smaller interior doors, rustic furniture, and traditional home projects.
Why choose this Wrought iron cabinet handle?
Every piece is unique thanks to the hand-forging process – no two are ever exactly the same. It’s a perfect finishing touch for handmade furniture or homes that embrace a rural or vintage aesthetic.
